Clinical Trials

The ideal cancer treatment includes a clinical trial according to the National Comprehensive Care Network (NCCN). NCCN is the accrediting body that guides cancer treatments.

Tri-County has access to phase II-IV trials  Tri-County is fortunate to partner with Mercy Cancer Center onsite to provide patient access to national cooperative clinical trials through many well-known organizations that have advanced treatment and support of cancer and hematology patients. Some examples include Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), and more. Pharmaceutical-sponsored trials are available as well as symptom management trials and quality of life trials. Mercy Provides Clinical Trial support with the assistance of three experienced Register Nurses and an Administrative Regulatory Coordinator who provide the best care possible.

Tri-County additionally is offering clinical trials through in house staff who have many years of clinical trial experience along with research certification (C.C.R.P.) through the Society of Credentialed Research Professionals (SoCRA). This provides access to even more clinical trials.

Tri-County is proud to offer many of the same clinical trials available at large cancer centers only close to home with personalized care and service. To learn more about clinical trials feel free to speak with your physician, ask to speak with a clinical trial RN, or learn more here.
